The orchids are waking up from their winter slumber... Picutured is the lavender and white phalenopsis. Spikes have appeared on the pink stripe phalenopsis and the tiny pink and orange phalenopsis. A slow poke Amaryllis is taking its time growing out but can't wait for the lovely pink blossoms.

Meanwhile, the cherry tomato plants have set fruit. There are two varieties, a Red Heirloom cherry and a yellow Golden Harvest cherry. Along with the mesclun greens in the Aerogarden and beet greens, (STILL going strong out in the coldframe) they will all make a nice winter salad.
