CURRENT MOON

October 2019 in the Garden PDF Print E-mail

The sun is staying lower on the horizon, so not as much light anymore. Temperatures are still warm though. Tomatoes have been harvested but some of them were harvested by the squirrels. Squirrels are smart enough to leave the Cheyenne and Macho peppers alone, as they will not enjoy a bite into those. Indoors in the Aerogardens, Pak Choy, Tatsoi Mustard greens and Autumn Torch Cabbages are being started. With a few fence boxes and a row cover, I am hoping to extend the growing season outside. Here are some pix of the latest in and from the garden.
