February 2019

Time to start the cool weather sprouts, chard, pak choy, spring greens, radishes, snow peas. No shadow for groundhog so hopefully spring will be early. Below is a picture of the new Led Light Aerogardens being used to start spring greens...These will be transplanted when it gets warm enough. Other vegetables are being started in peat Jiffy Strips.

The garden moved inside for the winter. It includes, Rosemary, Hibiscus, Palm, Amaryllis, orchids, Hydrangea, Begonia, Christmas Cactus, Bamboo, sugar cane, Ti Plant, Aloe, etc. Tulips and spring vegatables are being started here.

Been too busy out there doin' it, but here are some shots of my garden in Jersey City Island section

Late summer in the garden

My valiant little Helvola Lily returns. This little guy has been going for 27 years, in spite of being dragged out by racoons, skunks, robins!! Got it in 1991. Love this little yellow tub garden water lily!
