Harvest of October 24

It was time to bring in the remaining vegetables or see them rounded up by the squirrels, skunks, etc. The Zebra Tomatoes were slow pokes in ripening this year. Cucumbers were plentiful. The Pak Choy, Asian Cabbage, Golden Cherry Tomatoes, Thai Mini Hot Peppers and Mini Red Bell Peppers were tasty additions to the summer menu. You can't beat the taste of fresh picked veggies!

It's time to bring in the Rosemary, Lavender and remaining Basil. The basil will be made into Pesto and the remaining cucumbers into pickles. There are starts of Golden Cherry Tomato, Pak Choy and the Thai Pepper that will be kept going inside now. Gardens are a smile back at life and there is no doubt that gardens have helped many of us stay sane in era of Covid 19.
